Privacy Policy

Overview

Drop Squares is provided by Asilomar Design Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. Drop Squares does not require an account and does not contain ads.

Information stored on your device

The app stores gameplay progress, saved games, high scores, visual preferences, and purchase-entitlement status locally on your device. This information is used to operate the game and remember your choices.

Privacy-friendly analytics

Drop Squares uses TelemetryDeck to understand broad product usage and improve the game. Analytics may include an anonymized identifier for one app installation, game and screen interactions defined by us, rounded timestamps, app and operating-system versions, device type, game mode, score, run duration, and purchase-flow outcomes.

We do not send names, email addresses, Apple Account information, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, payment details, or free-form user content to TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck states that it does not store IP addresses and anonymizes installation identifiers before they reach its servers. Analytics are not used for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.

Purchases

The optional Lifetime Pass is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment-card or Apple Account credentials. The app uses StoreKit to retrieve product information, request and verify a purchase, and restore prior purchases. Apple’s handling of App Store transactions is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Gameplay data and preferences remain on your device until you change them or delete the app. Deleting Drop Squares removes the data controlled by the app from that device. Apple may retain purchase records under its own policies so purchases can be restored.

Analytics are anonymized and are not associated with an account or contact information that we can use to identify you individually.

Children

Drop Squares is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app’s features or data practices change. The revised effective date will appear on this page.
